“Baka dumating ang asawa mo o si mang Poldo,” sabi naman ni Totong.

“Hindi dumarating ng dis-oras ng gabi si Jun, takot maglakad sa gabi iyon. Si tatang naman eh parang may pinagkaka-abalahan,” sagot naman ni Mayang,

“Kung kakantot yun kanina pa yun nandito,” ito ang naisip ni Mayang.
